Northern Colorado NEXRAD Loop

NOTICE: This site does NOT provide or replace official advisory, forecast, and
warning products and should NOT be used to make life and death decisions.

The Northern Colorado Radar Loop uses output from the WSR-88Ds located in Cheyenne, WY, Denver, CO, Goodland, KS, and North Platte, NE. The images are generated from Level-II base reflectivity data. The echo intensity is measured and plotted in dBZ. Only the last 30 scans are included in this loop (Note: data is not archived). The frequency that the imagery is updated and the temporal resolution between scans is dependent upon the radar's scanning mode (Volume Coverage Patterns - VCP).
