Research Interests:
My primary interests are in tropical cyclone inner core processes, including
mesovortices, concentric eyewalls, moats, and intensity change. I've also done
work on vortex merger, the North American monsoon, flow patterns of
stratocumulus regimes, Gulf of California wind surges, experimental fluid
dynamics, and local climatology.
